The mission of Vitality is to provide comprehensive, integrated and individualized services to enhance the overall health and wellbeing of members of our community. June M. Bretz
President and CEO

As a yoga and meditation teacher, wellness counselor, fitness trainer and business owner, June works with a variety of clients to instruct and guide them to a more balanced, healthy and vibrant lifestyle.

June received her Hatha Yoga teacher certification through Yoga on Main, her degree in Business from Temple University and spent time studying at the Sorbonne in Paris. She is committed to continuing her education in various areas of health & wellness, including her current focus on complimentary therapies such as Aromatherapy and Thai massage. While her experience encompasses a variety of areas in both health and business, June’s style of teaching and leading remains relaxed, down to earth and full of humor.

In addition to her work in the wellness field, June spent several years as a public relations, marketing and business management consultant. She served in leadership roles in some of the Philadelphia area’s top non-profit organizations, including Bryn Mawr College and Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, among others. Through her work and home life, she strives to serve God and the community, leading with a focus on integrity, and social & environmental responsibility.

Kevin Brody
Vice President and Director of Operations

Kevin has served in a variety of roles with area Fortune 500 companies in business operations, fiscal management, team building & employee training.  Having only recently discovered the incredible difference that a healthy lifestyle can make to one’s body, mind, and spirit, Kevin’s leadership skills and business expertise are paralleled only by his newfound passion for holistic living.

Jackie Yovankin
Director of Business Development

Jackie Yovankin is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in business consulting, health education, nutrition counseling and motivational speaking. Jackie earned her B.A. in Psychology and Human Development from Boston College. After graduating, she received a Certification in Nutrition Counseling through Columbia University and is accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Jackie is an active member of the Philadelphia Community as a board member of the Philadelphia Wellness Council. As Vitality’s Director of Business Development, Jackie is focused on supporting prospective clients by providing them with solutions based on their unique health and wellness needs. Jackie continues to utilize her gift for nutrition counseling working one on one with clients. Her style of coaching and living is a direct reflection of her personality—open, compassionate, committed, positive and efficient. Finally, Jackie is an engaging speaker utilizing her charisma and knowledge in her seminars, lectures and workshops on healthier eating and living for corporations and special interest groups.

Cari Reilly
Yoga Instructor and Independent Consultant

Beyond being a highly regarded yoga teacher with a colorful background in the worlds of health, art, cooking and more, Cari Reilly has more than 20 years management experience in the corporate and nonprofit spheres. She has a strong background in events management, staff development, graphic/AV production, and the implementation of highly-effective employee training programs. Over the last ten years, Cari has used her proven skills in relation building to grow new networks and spearhead innovative customer service initiatives at her position with DVIRC in Philadelphia, where she played an integral role in reaching their aggressive revenue goals, and helped them achieve status as a multimillion dollar enterprise. Cari was thrilled to join Vitality, her new home, in April 2008.

Heather Esposito
Health Counselor and Private Chef

ike many people, Heather once believed that sickness and disease were a normal part of life, but today she knows otherwise. Through diet and lifestyle changes, she has healed from many sub-clinical conditions that once affected her daily life and has realized the old adage, "you are what you eat", is clearly true. Her personal experiences have fueled her passion to educate others about reclaiming health and looking and feeling one's absolute best. As a Masters Level Counselor, Certified Health Counselor and Natural Foods Chef, Heather believes that by making simple but powerful lifestyle adjustments one can experience dramatically improved health, greater enjoyment from eating and the confidence that comes from knowing how to take charge of one's health.

Mary Nearpass
Health Counselor and Yoga Instructor

Mary comes to us with an extensive background in both the traditional and holistic healthcare settings. The first part of her career focused on teaching, sales and marketing, and training and development. She has worked in the classroom setting (from elementary to the college level), for a major weight loss corporation and a leading hospital in the Philadelphia region. Her focus began to shift, as did her hunger for knowledge in the numerous aspects of complementary modalities, and how they assist in both the preventive and healing components toward health. With several certifications in Massage Therapy and Yoga, Mary also holds two master's degrees in Health Education and Behavioral Psychology. With an almost equal number of years experience in both traditional and alternative healthcare, she brings a working knowledge from both sectors. Mary’s current passion focuses on the union of Mind/Body medicine and it's role towards health and wellness.

Gretchen La Londe
Counselor and Private Chef

Gretchen is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, and accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Gretchen enjoys sharing her passion and deep understanding of the effects food has on our bodies so that her clients may experience optimal health and a passion for life.
